sandeep_nandyal
Moderately aggressive plan idi. Driving direction ee order lo cheste, this is a big loop starting from denver. Day 1 : Denver : Half day : Denver wild life arsenal + Half Day : Dinosaur Ridge area. Day 2 : Early morning Drive to Alamoosa ( Four hours padtundi. scenic route 285 tesko, oka 1 hour extra drive is very enjoyable) Day 2 : Evening sunset ayye - 2 to 3 hours mundu reach great sand dunes . Walk/hike in the direction of blue berry peak to get good pics. Please make sure there is NO storm in the forecast. Day 2 : Opika unte, Clear sky forecast unte - go to Great sand dunes again for viewing unbelievable stars. Alamoosa ninchi great sand dunes 35 min one way drive btw/ Day 3 : Early morning sunrise again at Great sand dunes. Before it gets too hot - Medano pass offroad trail. Akkada oka lake undi. You can easly do some off road but please make sure you have good 4WD suv. Day 3 : If you have energy left, akkda Bonanza ani oka abandoned mine undi. Fun spot, enjoyable mud roads Day 4 : Option 1 : Early morning ride Creede. Idi part of Rio Grande National forest.Akkada ATV rental tesko. ( aprox 200 per day ) 2 seat quad must be around 250 a day. Go to wheeler monument. Only 12 miles on way ...off road drive will almost take 9 hours. Very difficult off road driving but if you like you can go for it. Edo pedda SUV undi ani DO not go, your best bet is to take ATV and spend entire day Mind blowing scenary btw. Option 2 : Drive all the way to Cortez. Mesa verde sunset is very beautiful. Option 3 : Drive to independence pass. Super beautiful area, Highway 82 teskovali. Again always make sure to take 285 W connecting to Independence pass. ( My very personal preference is Option 1 ) Day 5 : Today is a rest day. If this is your first trip to colorado ? If yes, driving through Denver - alammosa - cortez - durango - aspen WILL make sure you puke your brains out. Carry some Diamox tablets to make sure you are not getting mountain sick. Also, you may experience noosebleeds due to the dry weather in the south.
