Role: Database Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN

 

Job Description:

 

• 8+ years of data analysis, reporting, analytics, or modeling experience 
• 8+ years of recent SQL development experience (2008R2,2012) 
• 7+ years of recent MSBI development experience (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) 
• Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft TFS, SQL Server SSMS, SSIS, SQL Agent, SSAS, SSRS & BI Tools, SharePoint Site Development & Management 
• The applicant must be able to think outside the box and will lead the development of new analytical/reporting/data correlation and data harvest techniques. 
• The applicant will spearhead the development of analytical/reporting strategies for Wholesale BI initiatives

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy 
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 
• Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management 
• Knowledge and understanding of Metadata 
• Knowledge and understanding of data analysis: business analysis and data requirement gathering 
• Knowledge and understanding of report creation and report validation processes 
• Experience delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
