Help - 2 amendments approved

please suggest what should I do now for below situation

I joined X company 6 months back and I filed amendment in regular process. 1 month back I left X and started working for Y company and filed amendment in Premium process. I asked attorney to withdraw amendment for X company. Attorney said to wait until Y company's amendment approval. Now both are approved and the situation is X company(OLD) approval date is after Y company(NEW) approval date. Attorney is saying to consider the one with latest approval date and have to file amendment again.

X(old) company amendment approval date Oct 24, 2016

Y(present) company amendment approval date Oct 23, 2016.
