With caution signlas placed by Central High Command for ys jaganmohan reddy, MP of Kadapa about ‘Odarpu Yatra’  he still seems to go ahead with this controversial yatra. Abhishek Singhvi, the party spokesperson speaking about this Yatra and open letter by YS Jagan has quoted that all the true, committed and loyal party workers must follow the party dharma and abide by the Lakshman Rekha of the party discipline.

While YS Jagan is decided to resume his ‘Odarpu Yatra’ from July 8, few of the state leaders at centre have discussed the issue with Sonia Gandhi. Media reports say that Sonia Gandhi was very much in discomfort and irritated by YS Jagan’s behavior and said, ‘Without Rajiv Gandhi, could there have been a chance for YSR to earn this image?’

Will Jagan defy the party directive or put hold is ‘Odarpu’ for a while until Sonia gets back to him? It is Jagan alone who can answer this question.

I wish to see Jagan fiasco from a cultural perspective.

If you observer, most south Indian states are culturally diverse with their own languages and customs. Unlike North, where majority can connect to Hindi speeches made by Gandhis, in South you need a local connection. NTR, MGR etc stood as representatives of respective cultures.

I think Congress is digging its own grave again in AP. The seed for a tree called TDP is [b]Gandhi Family Ego[/b]. We may see another party again now. I am not suggesting Jagan will win if he starts a party. Congress will definitely loose.

Its high time HC realizes and encourages strong local leaders in Southern states.
