kingmakers Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 According to the latest buzz in the media circles is that Jagan had already made preparations for launching a new political party called YSR Congress Party and that an application to this effect was already pending with the EC. The EC authorities in New Delhi have confirmed that there was indeed an application from a person called Konda Redy from Kadapa district for registering a political party in the name of YSR Congress Party and it was received some time in November 2009. Nobody knows who this Konda Reddy is. And the talk is that the application was moved by none other than Parkal MLA Konda Surekha, with a Kadapa address. Being a staunch loyalist of Jagan, she might have combined her initials and Jagan’s last name to create a name called Konda Reddy. The address is yet to be verified, sources say.
