Android_Halwa
considering very few applications being filed from India, I put the number at 150-175k. Even MS students who don't have a project on hand, might not file for h1b application citing stricter norms. Considering 40k MS students applying for H1b's and another 100k from India, miscellaneous adds up to another 20-30k citing other factors, The number is not going to be more than 150-170k. other factors being h4 ead's, non stem will file compulsory but STEM guys if they do not have a project on hand, will not file for h1 this year as seems to be the trend. MS students, every 3 in 4 will be lucky to get through lottery and from India, every 2 out of 4 will get pass through the lottery. Indian MNC's will file the least number of h1b's this year.
