What is the recovery time after LASIK eye surgery?

After your LASIK eye surgery is complete, we recommend going home and taking a five hour nap. Once you wake up you can resume normal activities such as watching TV and using a computer. Patients will generally be required to take eye drops for one week following their LASIK surgery.

Patients will need to refrain from the following for one week following the procedure:

>Strenuous or physical activities

>Swimming pools and hot tubs

>Rubbing or jarring the eye
