lot of people wish they could GC followed by citizenship and wish to stay here for ever. They can't imagine going back to home country and live there, They have lot of complaints about living in home country

when some died why friends/family create gofundme and collect money to send body india and for financial needs. ??

why people donate money to send body to india ??

a lot of ppl even though they spend all their life here want to be cremated in India as per hindu customs. ma friend(2nd gen ABCD) valla tatha (he camed to US in 70s and settled) chanipoina appudu gatti will rasadu . athani asthi ravali ante he should be cremated in India as per custom and dani kosam cash kuda oka separate acct lo pettadu..

Money relieves some pain if not all.

Imagine what he would earn and achieve if he is alive and works for 30 more years. If you don't want to donate, don't donate. But many people felt what happened was wrong and they want to help her by donating some money. One way of showing the world that everyone is there for her.

For most of the things there is no cause. Just do with emotion. 

Just try to be in her shoes to get that emotion. Don't make assumptions based on the money she got. Money should never be factor in emotions for Indians.
