if you are really bothered about GC, then get a birth certificate from Nepal and adjust in your passport and then apply GC. so no line, direct GC for you..

Even UK Has extra 10,000 over existing quota every year, UK nundi H1 or GC apply sesthe, u r status always will be Current. 

If u got UK passport, some one can sponsor for GC in US, u will ger GC in 6 months to 1 year. 

One of my friend got it in 7 months, next year UK passport vachaka maa cousin kuda apply chesta ananadu GC naak sudali

UK born ki GC Current, not for converted citizens. Na colleague okadu unnadu London nunchi ochina Gujju gadu. Vadu EB2 India line lo ticket teesukunnadu.

nee yavva, GC is given baased on Country of Birth.. no matter you are thopu UK citizen or AUS citizen..

dont know exact situation, my friend got it in 7 months , may be he applied in EB1 (i have little idea about US immig)

He is an Architect, He si AWS Architect

EB1 is first preferency Category - Only for extraordinary work profile. like professors, scientists and who is noted in media

EB2- 2nd preference category - high skilled workers. This is where they issue GC based on birth country. INDIA/CHINA always huge backlog..

EB 3 - 3rd preference category  - This usally takes life time to get GC..
