Jamkai Posted March 16, 2017 Report Posted March 16, 2017 Nenu na friends ki chestanu because they are my friends + I know the pain of working on H-1B for 10 years. As an employer, I have to pay FUTA, Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax, SUI for each employee. Ofcourse, naaku ochedi chaala minimum because I have to still pay for running the payroll, my accountant, submitting invoices, interest (sometimes) because I have to pay people before my invoice gets paid, etc., Madyalo evado oka daridrapu vendor gaadu bokka pedtaadu. Too much headache okosaari Ivi general ga every employer has to pay on an employee Quote

Too much headache okosaari Ivi general ga every employer has to pay on an employee Empl0uer pays onl7 payr0ll taxes+insurance. Never heard any empl0yer paying Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax, SUI for each employee. If you are d0ing. then are you earning like $1-2 hourly for empl0yeee ? I guess payr0ll taxes is only 7-8%. So in 80-20, mesthri earns about 12-13 % on empl0yee. for maintenace/staff/insurance even if you remove 3%, then mesthri earns easily 10% in 80-20 Quote

Jamkai Posted March 17, 2017 Report Posted March 17, 2017 Payroll taxes = FUTA + Social Security + Medicare +SUI Liability insurance is extra and is different. Some clients ask for Workers compensation & employers liability. You have to get it from Hartford or Geico. 8% payroll taxes ki insurance, interest, Accountant/payroll fees, etc add cheste migiledi 8-9%. This is not including my time I spend to do all this work. Ee lopala evadaina hand isthe pedda bokka padinatte. Two years ago oka vendor gaadu $11K bokka pettadu. 3 minutes ago, user789 said: Empl0uer pays onl7 payr0ll taxes+insurance. That can happen only if your employer is not reporting your wages to IRS and not paying payroll taxes. Every employer has to pay payroll taxes which is around 8% i know someone who did not report wages to IRS for one whole year and ran away to India with the $$ that were supposed to be paid as payroll taxes.
