agree but even if you are good at Java / .net with multithreading  u get that salary in finance. high paying jobs comes with lots of stress and challenging. u cannot risk with h1b. i know a person did MS in analytics and getting 200 k. he is used to get 150 k in bank with BI tools. he shifted to analytics. he was given big citi data model and asked to come up with analytics. previously he is MS in Math. so some how survived and continuing. based on his experience grass is greener other side. if you can dedicate that much time you can easily make 150 k easily in IT.
