If you are from the upper caste Hindu community, and your life sucks (according to you, even though you live in the US and make 50k+), it is entirely your own doing, and is probably your place in the world. Not the doing of the lack of meritocracy in India.

Go blame your fellow upper caste fcuks who failed to create industrialization in India, inspite of all that 'genius', and make sure people like you have decent paying jobs in India.

Not people who are regularly shamed in the Indian society.

it doesn't work like that. learning Hindi is a choice. Forcing it on people is public policy.

If people want to learn Hindi or if it becomes useful to learn it, Karunanidhi won't stop them. If he does, he'll be shamed. The consensus in TN is anti-Hindi. It doesn't matter if the leaders themselves learn Hindi.

anyway to negotiate with the center, it becomes necessary to learn some hindi. Even many tamilians learn Hindi to do business with Hindi people.

The problem is when its forced. That is the difference.
