your view (born in AP, grew there) is entirely different in radical ways from mine.

Since Mani is from my place, I can say nobody considers him an atheist. He's a brahmin. simple. His films are all from that point of view. which makes him out of touch with reality in his hometown.

Honestly I dont think we have a director  who shows brahmins view perfectly. Mani's style is somewhere close to spoiled Brahmin   and I think he is being truthful abt it.

Not that Chennai makes much better movies these days. They just moved on to newer crap.
