the govt doesn't have to be perfect. in fact, they know the govt structure is the biggest oppressive force, but they expect its opponents (maoists/naxals) to be angels.

you just described the majority of citizens in Indian society. compared to them, Naxals are better.

In the middle east, there was a socialist uprising (built over yrs) against the monarchy. It'll never happen in India, because middle class Indians who drive agenda in India will not allow it. They are happy to complain about the govt on small issues, and let life go on. because they are not actually affected by corruption. they just pretend that its important, because this is like a reality show for them. nothing more.

in comparison, the socialists in the middle east, fight against monarchy supported by Russia, and the religious fundamentalists funded by US. There are about 5-6 groups fighting each other there.
