My first discussion with him when he tried to convince me that it has lot of potential to earn money- so asked him how much he invested and how much he got in the last one month/ year/ 5yrs. No exact information as he is not maintaining any records. Next he concluded that he lost about total 5-10lacs in the last 10yrs.

Second - About 5yrs ago he told that there is a software that predicts market and you can buy/ sell based on the prediction. He is not successful prior to that because he was not using it. Even after buying it ($4000-5000) no significant change in losses.

Third - whenever he gets about Rs10,000 to 15000(max he got) in a single day he texts me about that but when I ask about how total he got in last one month- then no answer.

Fourth- every time he loses money he thinks that that's the only reason he lost the money and will act like now he knows the real secret of options/ trading. 

Fifth- for the last 5 yrs one thing is consistent - every year -he says that now knows more about trading/ options and it's best (best, best, best)for him to invest now. 

So few points from my understanding and I might be wrong-

- Trading/ Options is mainly for professionals and it's not the thing to earn money part time. When I say professionals - they invest huge amount and they might have inside information also.

- According to one article I read in the past regarding options/ trading - 98% will lose money and 2% will have all that.  So if you think it as a business- definitely to risky.

- Most of them hate when others call its like Gambling as they feel like they are using their brain. Yes it's probably not gambling but also not a business to earn money.

- Till now for the last 3-4yrs I am trying to find a success story ( someone who earned money consistently ) but I was not able to see any. Anyway my circle is not very big but I feel like atleast those who are doing it to  show some one as example to defend their trading/ options. 

Anyway  for the lengthy note.  I hope it throws some light.

Show me a guy who trade only options and made money consistantly for past 10 or 20 yrs..and if so let me knw whts his avg ROI is

dont know 10-20 years experience but know 5-6 years option traders

nenu recent ga observe chesina stocks lo chala varaku 10-25% perigayi within a day lo...alantivi manam tap cheyyali ante we need to have insider information....
