My opinion is having one kid ..because u can invest/energy  everything u have on the kid to make sure he becomes better human being 

aa oka kid kuda deniki... you can give away your property for doing good in society..

my take have min2 kids.. max-- nee opika and financial status afford cheyagaliginanta....

Probably the best practical answer among all.

Its lot more complicated than blindly saying go for 2 kids (just like Dallas batch going for 5 bedroom east facing homes with a backyard). There will be no life for parents except working like a non stop slave to serve his kids till their college time.

1 or 2 kids it all depends on how their mindset and environment influences them when they grow up. Some might have a good frequency but  some might be more happy with friends. Whether they watch their backs in hard times or backstab each other, only time will tell.

my 2 cents :

if you are good financially and have parents support (living with parents), go for 3 or 4 kids.. otherwise 1 good enough.
