H1 extension denied after 6 years is completed as masters is from Private/Profit university

My H1 6 years duration is completed.

Applied H1 extension based on I-140.

Received Notice of denial from uscis stating university is private for profit organization. So initial H1 applied under masters quota is not eligible for extension.

Anybody faced this situation. Please suggest how to proceed.
