Every customer is liability for moviepass. Even Americans. It is not gym membership to sell membership for 10$ and hope they won't come to gym everyday. But they do come 4-5 times a month. If everyone does that, moviepass is screwed. Quote

It already know the number of subscriptions and does all spending based on that sales. Moviepass has no clue on how much it is going to pay back, because the model assumed people would pay 9.95$ forever but wouldn't see more than 12 movies in a year. Dumbest assumption ever. yes...ela chusina kuda its a loss for them. maa city lo tciket $12 so Even if I see 1 movie per month they will lose 2$..idk how they survive Quote

If they continue to use this model, they will not sustain more than couple of years. BTW I didn't say desi. I said people like the ones mentioned by TS. It can be anyone. Even americans Bro, theaters make more money on snack/popcorn/coke purchases than on tickets. That is one of the pushing factors for theaters to accept movie pass and/or similar cards. Quote

Thing is, I like to watch almost every new movie that comes out since I don't have the patience to watch them at home but since that would have put a hole in my pocket I haven't done that all these months. Now that Movie pass has come, I am super happy. I wouldn't even mind paying $20/month if they raise their prices. Quote
