Emirates has exhausted all the slots in Indian aviation and unless further agreement reaches or changes happen under open sky policies with UaE, no new destination will be able to fly and no additional seats will be granted to operate. 

And, more than Emirates it would be an Indian airline company that will operate out of Gannavaram first than a foreign airline...Open skies policy la arachetilo Vaikuntam pani cheyadu 

it may be 2-3 years before an international air service would start from Gannavaram and this airport being in the victory of Vizag and Hyderabad...chances will further be scaled down for international operation.

విజయవాడ: గన్నవరం విమానాశ్రయం నుంచి ముంబైకి నేరుగా విమాన సర్వీసు నడిపేందుకు ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు. గన్నవరం విమానాశ్రయం విస్తరణ అనంతరం అంతర్జాతీయ విమాన సర్వీసులు నడిపేందుకు అధికారులు ఏర్పాట్లు చేస్తుండగా జనవరి 19వ తేదీ నుంచి ముంబైకి నేరుగా విమాన సర్వీసును ప్రవేశపెడుతున్నారు. మంగళ, శుక్ర, ఆదివారం నాడు ఈ సర్వీసును నడపనున్నారని విజయవాడ పార్లమెంటు సభ్యుడు కేశినేని నాని తెలిపారు.
