U won't die..that will unblock ur nose...this happens when we get cold..

naah!! when you have  hard time breathing thru nostrils better use your mouth, In this scenario if you keep blocking air flow through the  mouth you will not have a continous sleep.

Secondly if the nose passages are blocked or if you have any bronchities or if you have any heart related problems you tend to breath in more with your mouth than your nostrils, better consult a sleep doctor.
