Its agreed that JIO was instrumental in reducing prices in mobile internet, but its not some tech wonder.

Airtel seems to be giving the same offers jio is giving now. but airtel has legacy systems that needs maintenance, Jio doesn't. nee argument prakaram Airtel bankruptcy declare chesi, kotha company petti new loans teeskuntey, same Jio offers ivvagalthadu.

Its not because JIO invented an extraordinary way to reduce 4G prices. They just have accepted lower margins. This is one the occasions where competition is helpful (undercutting competition) They bought technology from Nokia/siemens, they didn't even have the expertise to deploy it. neither does Airtel.

But capitalism is not helpful in creating new technologies. especially in modern era where a bunch of technologies are stuck in beta phase because 'market' doesn't allow it. means the biggies don't want it.

okay. If Kejriwal is truly not corrupt, he won't succeed in politics dominated by money. unless poor people vote in unison.

anything actually useful to humanity is mostly done through cooperation (either by individuals, or by companies).

get back to me when Jio/Airtel can atleast make those 4G components themselves before you coo about 'capitalism' and 'competition'.

right now, all these two companies are good for is arm twisting banks to give them loans to the effect of lakhs of crores. and then deploying a slave army to construct a network designed by actual companies (foreign).

Internet that you use is possible because of non profits who have contributed to BSD, Linux, and 1000s other projects for free.

They should have let internet be controlled by proprietory standards. it'd be fun when you have to install a 1000 plugins to visit any site. if your browser is not already bloated because of overuse of javascripts in the site.
