Usually Civil Engineers and to an extent Mechanical Engineers and Electrical Engineers need this license to practice their profession. You require a certain amount of years in experience to even be eligible to apply for this exam. No such thing exists in IT, we have certifications which are close but not quite the same as the Professional Engineer licenses since the certifications aren't accredited by a state/federal agency unlike the PE ones. JambaKrantu Posted February 28, 2018 Report Posted February 28, 2018 GF got an approval today on a H1 transfer. Everything is good guys. Take it easy and submit all the documentation USCIS is asking for. The industry will adopt as long as there is demand. The vendors will start giving out contracts between them and the client. As long as you are submitting client letter, vendor letter, contracts between vendor and client and employer you will be fine. 1 Quote

But my feeling is most of these denials are for shady clients or clients that don't give proper paperwork. As long as you work for good clients that give client letter and a good vendor you will be fine.. Quote
