something struck me as odd.

forget the quality of 'advice' there. Its just the fact that people are willing to share information on something that is so volatile like bitcoin, and is essentially a zero sum game (even more than stocks are).

actually, that way of trading by being in a community is counterproductive. Not many people make money trading that way. and even if they make a bit in the beginning, the more they do it, they more they lose out. So it was definitely surprising that people do it so enthusiastically.

Now switch back to the main board, which still will have people pissing on pulkas or jaffas or langas or my fav topics to beat this db with. when in fact, people gain a lot by exchanging information and ideas on how to do certain things in real life situations.

but they still fight over each other on the most trivial sh1t.
