TKWQ Posted March 14, 2018 Report Posted March 14, 2018 Firstly give encouragement to the patient saying high BP is one of the most common ailment. Get a portable device to enable BP measurement at home. Diet standpoint is something you can figure out. Essentially healthy food with reduced salt. Light walking as exercise. Tell your parent to do what makes them happy. Whether it is watching movies, listening to music etc. Doctor's medication and instructions need to be followed religiously. Also ask your parent to get a complete health checkup from time to time. So if any other factors are tied to the high BP, they can be identified and worked upon instantly. Recovery time varies from person to person. Things will be fine. Wish you luck Quote
