Does AP deserve special status?

On just one basis 

No proper distribution of wealth

Generations lost by stopping 1970's division

No city for Andhra Pradesh 

No companies for AP 

Maharashtra Mumbai

Tamil Nadu Chennai

Karnataka Bangalore

Tg Hyderabad

AP ??

AP people don't want division but it is divided

And the way of division is worst

In independent India no state is divided this way 

Generations lost 

Who will pay this

Please don't compare ap with other states

I understand your point. However, is it central govt liability if Andhra had to change 4 capitals in last 60 years.

Think about how it will be exploited by people like nimmagada, sujana, subbirami reddy

Not at all..Even Center is not in a position to provide that due to lack of funds/budget deficit/.

Special Package, Financial Assistance makes lot of sense

They r alloting thousands to lac of crores to Karnatan/B'lore, Mumbai, GJ. Why can't govt of india go for equal n priority base than biased.

Yeah special package makes sense. Not special status. It will be exploited in a wrong way.

Yeah tell me one state in India which had to change capitals so often. Our own grave mistake to not develop own capital

AP had to exit from Madras state bcoz we wanted separate state.

Biggest mistake was when they changed capital from Kurnool to Hyderabad. 

If that wasn't the case we would have had awesome capital city in kurnool by now.

lol thats just on paper.. in reality don't think so..

also they can allot those 1000s of crores to AP as well as financial assistance, grant institutions, loans , infra projects etc. but giving special status will be disaster...  creates imbalance across states.. and also can be misused by the state gov't/politicians..

at that time, HYD is prosperous , so can't Resist
