Hyderabad, May 23: Former union minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Bandaru Dattatreya’s son died of heart attack during early hours on Wednesday. Bandaru Vaishnav took his last breath at Guru Nanak hospital in Secunderabad.

 

21-year-old Vaishnav complained of chest pain after which he was shifted to Guru Nanak hospital in Secunderabad on Tuesday late night, a report claims. He died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. He was a third year MBBS student

Bandaru Dattatreya was elected as a member of parliament for 10th, 12th, 13th Lok Sabhas from Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency. He was re-elected to 16th Lok Sabha from Secunderabad Constituency.  He has served as a Union Minister in Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government and was the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Labour and Employment from 2014 to September 1, 2017.
