techincally when your old employer cancelled your h1b means your i94 normally which attached to that petition was also cancelled. Without valid Visa status or atleast receipt number i94 alone cant help I guess..

you will out of status one of my colleague transfer to my employer  his previous employer revoke the H1b and transfer got denied and he left to india and  my employer apply for new h1 and went to stamping come back
