MobileMusic Posted May 25, 2019 Report Posted May 25, 2019 I go on a road trip, I hit the the highway - a concrete highway built with Portland cement - I reach 75 MPH and hear this CUIIIII... (koooiii) noise of the rubber meeting the concrete at a speed. And that is MUSIC TO MY EARS!! I simply love concrete roads and highways! They are classic. Heck, there are some roads where they etched calculated Rumble Strips so that when we drive on them at a designated speed, the road SINGS - it sings a song!! Route 66 Musical Road in NM - singing "America the Beautiful" song when we drive at 45 MPH on it The Singing Road of New Mexico - Rt 66 Sings America the Beautiful More singing roads around the world - https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=singing+road The differences in material - https://www.google.com/search?q=concrete+road+vs+asphalt+road Quote
