uttermost Posted July 23, 2018 Report Posted July 23, 2018 Dirty, not because people sh1t on footpaths, and throw rubbish wherever they wish to. No. That kind of social discipline is not hard to acquire, with enough incentive. Why its dirty is because its wealthy, and the middle class conspire against the low class to deprive them of decent facilities while giving themselves metros and flyovers. lol. India is truly dirty. its somewhat affluent people are the ones who are dirty, and have zero social awareness, apart from breastbeating about the greatness of their city. next time when someone tries to tell me about greatness of Chennai, I'm going to punch him in the face. Chennai has better groundwater facilities than most metros in India (blr, hyd), and sustains the fringes of the city. I don't think water supply is a problem in Chennai.. like it is in blr. may be because people in Chennai have adapted to using lesser water. and Chennai has been recycling water for industrial consumption for the past 20-30 yrs way before other metros picked it up. I hope they recycle water from domestic consumption too, and charge people 10 times more for how much they sh1t and piss, than how much they drink. Its going to get their eventually. I don't see Chennai running out of water, even if Krishna water supply dries up, if the monsoon doesn't fail for many successive years. Quote

AP gives yearly upto 5 TMC water to chennai for drinking water purpose. Why would AIADMK vote against AP in parliament ? Quote

AIADMK Should have once fought against arrogant modi. not a single sitting MP from TN will be elected back . The hate for AIADMK is unprecedented all over TN, except may be in parts of western TN, due to caste angle. Yes, AP and TN should put on a united front, because they agree on most issues. Hope next CM of AP (whoever it is) doesn't give up the fight for more state powers, after getting elected. In fact one of CBN's greatest achievements is protecting federalist arrangement by postponing delimitation by couple decades when he was part of NDA in the early 2000s. But he failed to read the details of 14th finance commission, and spoke against his own stand a decade ago. TN has consistently fought for it, except the current spineless govt, after JJ's death. Whole south can speak as one voice. But sometimes its not easy, like in TG's case which still has to fight TDP in TG(I don't know if its a real fight or a pr0xy one). Quote

CBN went with NDA to fight against factionism by YSR and his corruption. Because of his fight, there are now 11 cbi chargesheets came out on YS jagan. TN politics are only corrputed. but AP politics are not easy. after CBN lost in 2004, next CM ysr killed almost 2000 TDP activists. you can imagine the level of pressure CBN had. Federalism should be reserrected at any cost now. in fact, they should make both central and state in equal in power. otherwise we can't sustain this MODI and BJP. i can 100% bear congress govt. though they bit corrupted but atleast i know i can get things done by protesting in congress govt. but can't take this bull BJP anymore. i really miss jayalalitha. she was the one fighting BJP since begining itself. i admire her for that. Had she been living, this GST bill would't be materialized. Quote

How was quebec able to fight it off? politics should be the art of possible.. not something that is forced on a population that is unwilling to accept it. Even rejoicing or justifying such an imposition seems a bit condescending. You can only be for or against justice. You can't argue that you take the side of injustice because justice isn't possible. uttermost Posted July 23, 2018 Author Report Posted July 23, 2018 yes. GST is the most horrendous thing to have come out of India in recent times. It will affect India's growth, even if it improves govt revenue, which the govt will use to allocate 1. more to higher research than to basic schools - we need middle class einsteins. lol. 2. more to urban infra in least productive sectors, taking away from providing basic necessities to the most underprivileged neighbours 3. more to specialised medical facilities, than improving basic care all over India. No growing economy will opt for GST. Every genius who came up with the idea of having one nation one tax should never be elected into the parliament again. ever. Quote
uttermost Posted July 23, 2018 Author Report Posted July 23, 2018 Also why is a 'growing' economy, worried about govt revenue? its simple. because this 'economy' is doing nothing productive. and govt taxing its excesses is its way of reining in the economy a bit. accept that first. If it was improving production, then atleast govt can keep on pushing more and more money into the system and doesn't have to worry about an overheated economy for the time being. the truth.. Indian growth story has stopped even before its started. GST is the dressing. Quote

I don't know if hyd is worst or chennai is worst. overall, when it comes to cleanliness our fucki.ing indians are the worst. they sh.it and litt everywhere. auto, corporate cab drivers are the worst **.ing ass.holes on the road while driving. no lane sense, no indicator, randomly take u-turns. 70% of the autodrivers won't have license. 10th class and intermediate get in to this occupation and drive without side mirrors.
