Ledu ante.. with so much advancement in ASSISTED REPRODUCTIVE TECHNOLOGY(ART) ..urs friends problem can be overcomed very easily by a process called ICSI( intra cytoplasmic sperm injection)-where sperm from ur friend & egg from his wife r collected.. processed..fertilized by injecting the sperm directly into egg with a needle.. leaving the fertilized egg in lab for 4-5 days to grow & to analyze... & transferring the blastocyst- a 8 cell stage egg back into uterus. In this technique low sperm motility problem will be overcomed by injecting one single sperm cell directly into egg in lab. More over.. male infertility is easy to treat than female infertility. So both partners need to be thoroughly examined & once ur friends wife is normal..i am pretty sure they would become parents very soon.. may be in a couple of years. 

 Only problem ..it is time consuming & frustrating.. may not always get positive result in first cycle itself ( success rate 40-45%/ cycle). so they need to be bit patient & optimistic. On the otherhand.. success aithe twins vache chance kuda untadi.. ilanti ART treatment tho. 

 Oka 3L varaku karchu aithadi Hyd lo aithe first cycle ki.. & there on it costs around 1L for subsequesnt cycles. .. which is still very cheap compared to other countries. Middle east .. nigeria & other africal countries nunchi kuda.. people r coming down to india for infertility treatment.

May june july lo chala infertility centres lo ee procedures cheyaru... as success rate is low in summer due to high temperatures. They just do scans.. routine checkups... keep clients on medicines & wait till july. 

In the mean time tell him not to get depressed as it may lead to psychological impotency. Proper understanding & communication with partner is very crucial  in these cases. Daily- excercise .. yoga.. & vit C,E, Zn tablets theskomanu.
