My H1 stamping was done in 2016 and stamped till 2019

I changed my employer in 2017

Now going to India

So please suggest if I have to give finger prints for stamping

Or

If I can do drop box (no finger prints)

Or

If I need to give interview as well etc.

Do I need to book an appointment after I fill DS160, please suggest

Share any other information that might help me please....

if you have valid visa with old employer.. still yu can use that to enter US.

But, make sure you show the recent/latest new employer i797. you will get i94 based on new i797 dates. sometimes officer poe will give i94 based on visa date but, it is rare.

fill in the profile 7 info on ustravledocs it will tell you whether you qualify for dropbox or not. with the info you gave you should be eligible unless your visa has any annotation saying"clearance received...." etc.,

Why do you need a new visa? your current visa along with your new i-797 will suffice to comeback..

if your stamping is valid until 2019 with old employer...you can re-enter into US with same stamping...however make sure your current H1B with new employer is valid until 2019 as well.

People said stamping is not needed

But I have to get it done for personal reasons

So please suggest if I need to give finger prints or can I just drop the application?
