It is not th cost of living they go for. The expenses are high but the 401k will be a monster when they retire. 3-4 million untundhi. Always prefer the jobs in SFO, NYC and Chicago for the high pay. Retirement kummeyochu.

I hate those places man  . Would be my last preference though i consider SFO for other reasons. *n$
