Intermittent fasting doesn't necessarily mean the 16 hours of fast, 8 hours of feed. That's just one approach, I have done several IF approaches(don't call it a diet as it's a lifestyle change) and just one of them is the 16:8 one. There are other variants too, currently I am on a 20 hours of fast, 4 hours of feeding IF cycle it's called "The Warrior Diet" google it. Again it's not so much a diet as much as it's a lifestyle change. Also there are other variants to this, one of them is the Eat Stop Eat approach which prescribes 2 days of regular eating, 1 day total fast(just drink water), 3 days of regular eating again and 1 more day of total fasting(water only) for a 7 day cycle of Eat Stop Eat. There's also another variant called OMAD(One meal a day), which I used to follow for a while before I switched back to the Warrior diet approach. So please don't be under a miscommunication that Intermittent Fasting only refers to 16 hours of fast, and 8 hours of feeding. Quote

Strength training is far superior to just cardio, also HIIT is a form of strength training which is very good. Quote

Also reduce the meal intervals as freinds chepinatlu. With cocunut oil or ghee in the morning you dont feel hungry,. Please dont snack in between insulin will release. Dont make cheat days you will be out of ketosis. Also first 3 days lo just water weight potadi dont be excited continue.Only problem is for 6 days I tried it works very well but tarvatha carbs cravings start avutayi like almost you will get biryani, dosa idli in dreams  , i give up so main thing lies in resisting carbs for 2 to 3 weeks , to see real effect of ketosis One good way of taking care of these cravings is to do what I call a Cyclical Keto or Cyclical Intermittent Fasting diet. What that involves is sticking to the diet 6 days a week and have one cheat day(preferably a Saturday) where you can eat your favorite comfort food like donuts, bagels, biriyani, desi buffet, pizza whatever you wish, only for that one day. Trust that won't really kick you off ketosis, as long as you are also incorporating strength training apart from just dieting. 1 Quote

Also cramps leg pains etc are gone. If cocunut oil is problem Ghee home made with Grass fed butter. ONly problem with coconut oil is when cooked mana telugu valaki smell koncham ibbandi ga untadi. As that has lauric acid you can feel the difference just try once , if cocunut oil is problem try bullet proof coffee (same mct oil in cocunut but processed not natural) you dont need carb filled breakfast to start your day one coffee will keep you running I use this coconut oil for all my cooking needs, has zero coconut oil nutty smell. Found on Amazon for around $20, one tub lasts me 5-6 months. 1 1 Quote

Fruits are overrated in comparison to vegetables actually, although fruits do have some beneficial minerals and vitamins(micronutrients) you don't have to consume them everyday. Esp be aware of consuming non seasonal fruits, for further information read "The Plant Paradox" and you will understand why eating fruits the way we do these days is harmful(consuming non seasonal fruits year round due to availability). looks like you are more infulenced with keto/low carb theory...fruits consumption surely works Quote

Looks like you need to read what I typed properly again and comprehend it, I am talking about eating non seasonal fruits all the time. Consuming non seasonal fruits all the time surely works, in spiking up your insulin and giving you type 2 diabetes. Quote
