Reason for denial - job not specialty enough, job duties don't match education background. He is on 8th year of H1. From conversation with him he told me that USCIS is now a days specifically targeting people who are on 6+ years of H1.. Not sure how true this is.. But pillalu like I told the denial rate is between 25 to 35% and it doesn't matter if you are FTE, EVC, Doctor or Engineer.. It all depends on the officer you get, the mood he is in and the monthly quota he has to fill.. He is a UNIX admin..

My company will not reapply.. He is planning on leaving this weekend. HR asked him to not to come to work from tomorrow..
