Siddardh Posted October 4, 2018 Report Posted October 4, 2018 Fastest century on debut in Test Matches... --- Dhawan (85 balls) and Dwayne Smith is second (93 balls) 59 ఏళ్ల రికార్డును బ్రేక్ చేసిన పృథ్వీ షా వెస్టిండీస్తో మ్యాచ్ ద్వారా టెస్టుల్లో టీమిండియా ఓపెనర్గా బరిలోకి దిగిన రెండో అతి పిన్నవయస్కుడిగా ఘనత సాధించిన పృథ్వీషా.. అరంగేట్రం మ్యాచ్లోనే అరుదైన రికార్డును ఖాతాలో వేసుకున్నాడు. 55 బంతుల్లో 7 ఫోర్ల సాయంతో హాఫ్ సెంచరీ సాధించాడు. భారత్ తరపున టెస్టుల్లో అరంగేట్రం చేసిన మ్యాచ్లోనే హాఫ్ సెంచరీ సాధించిన పిన్నవయస్కుడిగా షా రికార్డు నెలకొల్పాడు. ఫలితంగా 59 ఏళ్ల రికార్డును పృథ్వీషా బ్రేక్ చేశాడు. గతంలో అబ్బాస్ అలీ బెయిగ్ పేరిట ఈ రికార్డు ఉండగా దాన్ని షా అధిగమించాడు. 1959లో మాంచెస్టర్లో ఇంగ్లండ్తో జరిగిన టెస్టు మ్యాచ్లో అబ్బాస్(20 ఏళ్ల 131 రోజులు) అరంగేట్రం మ్యాచ్లోనే అర్థ శతకం సాధించాడు. దాంతో అరంగేట్రం మ్యాచ్లో హాఫ్ సెంచరీ సాధించిన పిన్న వయస్కుడి రికార్డును నెలకొల్పాడు. ఇప్పుడు దాన్ని పృథ్వీ షా బద్ధలు కొట్టాడు. పృథ్వీ షా 18 ఏళ్ల 329 రోజుల వయసులోనే ఈ ఘనత సాధించడం విశేషం. ఇక పిన్న వయసులో తొలి టెస్టు హాఫ్ సెంచరీ చేసిన భారత ఆటగాళ్ల జాబితాలో పృథ్వీ షా మూడో స్థానంలో ఉన్నాడు. ఈ జాబితాలో సచిన్ టెండూల్కర్(16 ఏళ్ల 214 రోజులు) తొలి స్థానంలో ఉండగా, పార్థీవ్ పటేల్(18 ఏళ్ల 301 రోజులు) రెండో స్థానంలో ఉన్నాడు. రవిశాస్త్రి( 19 ఏళ్ల 215 రోజులు) నాల్గో స్థానంలో, దినేశ్ కార్తీర్(19 ఏళ్ల 291 రోజులు) ఐదో స్థానంలో ఉన్నారు. Punches the air as he comes back for the second. A hundred on debut at better than run-a-ball. Is this the bright start in a long, long career?
