I had ISDN connection when everyone else was using dialup at 14kbps.. I was using 64kbps non stop. then by 99, it became 512kbps, when everyone was using 28kbps.

and even dialups, very very few were using internet that time.

this board was actually created as a parallel computing platform, but someone made a neat laptop out of it.

Its just amazing. Running Alpine linux.

it costs about $100. and its fast. I can run matlab on it. multiple instances.
