The issue is between your mother and sister.Your sister should have sent tickets or your parents should have bought themselves

If your parents have asked you for help in buying tickets ,you can buy for them.

But if I am in your situation and if my parents asked me to buy tickets,I would rather send them cash equal to tickets and may be 10 to 20k rupees more to by tickets in India..cos Indian mentality is that everything in US is cheap and it would have costed me 50% cheaper than India .But reality it is  opposite
