I know a bangladeshi family of muslims... they are now settled in the states... vallu chepparu okapudu dussehra ki durga pooja andaru celebrate cheskune vallu anta when they were kids... that was probably 20-25 years ago but now it doesnt happen anymore and I dont think they let any hindus do that in public..

u can take permission and do..if the community allows u to do..with restricted timings and rules....

India is Secularist/Democratic country...whereas the nations which u r referring to are not..and dictator/family ruled nations...
