Gandhi was a pet stooge of his British Colonial Masters. Vaadu father of the nation aa joke kakapothey, he was sent to scuttle the Indian independence movement that was picking up steam after WW1 and was thrust onto the public as some kind of a great leader. Aa non violence was just a cover up, he himself fought in the Boer war against the native Zulus in favor of the British, and his attitudes towards them is a matter of record anyway. 

Bhagat Singh on the other hand was a much more egalitarian person, whose ideas and ideals were way ahead of the time. Not surprisingly, the British media with their pet stooge Gandhi projected him as a violent brash young man who was hell bent on destroying public property(read British property) when that wasn't quite the case. Bhagat singh on top of being a revolutionary leader was a very well read person and an erudite soul. 

To compare him with a political stooge like Gandhi shows that you have zero idea about the independence movement.
