How to send TV to India with Parents

Parents Visited here. Ikkada oka TV kontunnaru..Daanni India ki ela pampali bros. Customs entha padatai and Airlines vadu ela charge chestadu and India lo ee 110 V di ela use cheskovali..ideas/Suggestions pls.

I recently took one.  No charge in airlines if you replace it with 1 check-in bag - 55 inch max.  They won't allow more than that and make sure to give them the receipt which will be useful in India.  Naaku about 10k padindi customs lo.  NEVER go without receipt - you will end up paying lot more.

and about the converter - look for something called step-up/step-down transformer.  It acts like plug conversion and also the stabilizer.

bro.. 55 inch limit on TV screen size or TV package size?

My $0.02 India lo konivvadam better. They won't use all features. Pal ntsc cr@p.. Malla voltage nannu. Gemini maa HD thappa pedha content undadhu.

TV bhayya.. no need to worry about package size - it is replaceable with one check-in bag.

enduku bhayya.. ikkada takkuvaki ostadi kada?  Nenu teesukellina tv motham 38k INR padindi.  India lo almost 1lak+

Qatar.. with Receipt ($350+tax), everything legal bhayya.. but, receipt is the key!

But the TV I purchased doesn't have all those features normal. No 4k oled etc.

Maa parents velledi British Airways Bro..vadu package restrictions L=35.5, Breadth=29.5 and Height=16 inch antunnadu.

aa measurements ki 40 inch tv ne teeskellagalam kada..55 Inch ela teeskellav bro? Qatar airlines rules emanna veru ga untaya?

you will pay lot more bhayya.  Dont do it - you are better of buying a new tv and sending it and buy here later.  Almost similar model one family went before me without receipt and they paid 26k..
