I agree to this. Motham kuda created story and he might have told to Radhika. Asalu Tabu BF vede ayyundachu and vadu radhika ni use chesukoni undachu. radhika apte was getting serious in relationship so he might have created situation with tabu so that she never comes back to him again. Rabit stick might be indication that all that is kattu katha. Open ended climax.

My understanding from emotional positive perspective ist he is really blind and was loyal to radhika and didn't lie a second time. His words not to kill tabu and the screenplay which showed tabu killed dr. swamy and hero not savin him since he was blind and talking in car not to kill tabu when she was driving etc etc supports he was genuinely blind.  Tappu chesina vallu andaru chacharu and he was innocent so survived was my understanding.

If he lost one eye why would he talk in  car as if he is talking to doctor when tabu was driving? Why wouldnt he save doctor who saved him and also was planning on replacing cornea for him?
