You can use Spring boot which has web support to build production grade applications without worrying about setting up configuration. Can use Web support (  maven dependency) and create rest based services. Spring has support to various DB dialects and also may be can use JPA/Hibernate ORM . Angular/React lantivi use cheyachu front end. Frontend and backend could be on different servers and can communicate through end points. Spring boot helps you to write a service within no time just have spring starter kit and a web dependency and maven update will download all jars needed . If you want video tutorials to get started i can help. Basically working in same tech stack .  Edi below pom.xml is enough to get started . As you go along you may need more dependencies based on business logic and architecture . Hope this helps.    <parent>     <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>     <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-parent</artifactId>     <version>1.3.3.RELEASE</version>    </parent>    <dependencies>       <dependency>       <groupId>org.springframework.boot</groupId>       <artifactId>spring-boot-starter-web</artifactId>     </dependency>  </dependencies>
