Apple said it will establish long-term contracts with energy suppliers to provide the balance of its renewable power needs. The company’s headquarters also cut energy use 30 percent in 2012 from the previous year, while occupancy grew by more than 12 percent over the same time period. Apple also completed construction and began operation of the largest end-user solar array and large non-utility fuel cell system in the US at its 500,000-sq-foot data center in Maiden, NC. Apple installed solar panels from California-based SunPower on a 100-acre site located across the street from the data center as well as on another area of land a few miles away. California-based Bloom Energy is the fuel cell provider. Apple also launched greener products in 2012, including the redesigned iMac, which uses 68 percent less material and generates 67 percent fewer carbon emissions than earlier generations. In addition, the aluminum stand on the iMac is made using 30 percent recycled content. The company also introduced its redesigned AirPort Express with an enclosure containing bio-based polymers derived from industrial-grade rapeseed and post consumer recycled PC-ABS plastic. Earlier this year, Apple announced plans to develop a wind turbine that generates electricity from stored wind energy. Apple tech has filed an application with the US Patent and Trademark Office that proposes electricity generation from converting heat energy rather than rotational energy created by the rotation of the turbine’s blades. snoww Posted January 9, 2019 Report Posted January 9, 2019 విశాఖలో డేటా పార్క్ 20 ఏళ్లలో రూ.70 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు ఏపీ ఐటీశాఖ,అదానీ గ్రూప్ మధ్య ఒప్పందం ఈనాడు - అమరావతి ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో డేటా పార్క్, సోలార్ పార్క్ల ఏర్పాటుకు రూ.70 వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడి పెట్టేందుకు అదానీ గ్రూప్ ముందుకొచ్చింది. ఈ మేరకు ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ఐటీ శాఖ, అదానీ గ్రూప్ మధ్య బుధవారం ఒప్పందం కుదిరింది. ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు, రాష్ట్ర ఐటీ శాఖ మంత్రి లోకేశ్, అదానీ గ్రూప్ ఛైర్మన్ గౌతం అదానీల సమక్షంలోనే ఇందుకు బీజం పడింది. ఉండవల్లిలోని ముఖ్యమంత్రి నివాసంలో ప్రజావేదిక వద్ద జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఐటీ శాఖ కార్యదర్శి విజయానంద్, అదానీ గ్రూప్ ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొన్నారు. ఒప్పందంలో భాగంగా విశాఖ నగరంలో పర్యావరణ హిత డేటా పార్క్ను అదానీ గ్రూప్ ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. రాబోయే 20 ఏళ్లలో లక్ష ఉద్యోగాల కల్పనకు వీలుగా రూ.70వేల కోట్ల పెట్టుబడులు పెడుతుంది. విశాఖపట్నంలోని 500 ఎకరాల్లో ఒక గిగా వాట్ డేటా సెంటర్ (మూడు కేంద్రాలు) ఏర్పాటు చేస్తుంది. 5 గిగా వాట్స్ సోలార్ పార్క్ను కూడా నెలకొల్పుతుంది. ఈ డేటా కేంద్రాన్ని ఇంటర్నెట్ కేబుల్ ల్యాండింగ్ స్టేషన్తో అనుసంధానించడం ద్వారా మెరుగైన ఇంటర్నెట్ సేవలు అందించే కీలక కేంద్రంగా ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ అవతరిస్తుందని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం ప్రకటించింది. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న ఐటీ కంపెనీలు, డేటా సెంటర్లు, హార్డ్వేర్ సప్లయర్స్, సాఫ్ట్వేర్, స్టార్టప్ కంపెనీలు, టెలీకాం కంపెనీలు ఈ అవకాశాన్ని వినియోగించుకునేందుకు రాష్ట్రానికి వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉందని ఐటీ శాఖ భావిస్తోంది. డేటా కేంద్రాలు రెండు చోట్లే... ప్రస్తుతం భారతదేశంలో డేటా సెంటర్లు చెన్నై, ముంబయి నగరాల్లో మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి. 2016 నాటికి దేశంలో డేటా సెంటర్ల రంగం అభివృద్ధి విలువ 160 బిలియన్ డాలర్లు కాగా, ఇది ప్రపంచంతో పోలిస్తే 2 శాతమే. ప్రతి ఏడాది ఈ రంగంలో 20శాతం పెరుగుదల చోటుచేసుకుంటోంది. డేటా సెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటుతో దీనిపై ఆధారపడిన అనేక కంపెనీలు తమ కార్యకలాపాలు ప్రారంభించడం వల్ల వృద్ధి రేటు పెరుగుతుంది. snoww Posted January 9, 2019 Report Posted January 9, 2019 అభివృద్ధిలో ఇక దూకుడే డేటా సెంటర్తో రూ. 1.75 లక్షల కోట్ల లబ్ధి 20 శాతం పెరగనున్న జీఎస్డీపీ విస్తృత స్థాయిలో ఉద్యోగాల కల్పన ఈనాడు, అమరావతి: రాష్ట్రంలో 1 గిగా వాట్ సామర్థ్యంగల డేటాసెంటర్ హబ్ ఏర్పాటుకు ప్రముఖ పారిశ్రామిక దిగ్గజం ఆదానీ గ్రూప్తో చేసుకున్న ఒప్పందం ఆచరణలోకి వస్తే ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ ఆర్థికాభివృద్ధి పరుగులు తీసే అవకాశముంది. డేటాసెంటర్ రంగంలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ దేశంలోనే అగ్రగామిగా నిలుస్తుంది. దీనివల్ల రాష్ట్ర స్థూల ఉత్పత్తిలో 20శాతం పెరుగుతుందని ఒక అంచనా. పూర్తిస్థాయిలో ఆపరేషన్లోకి వస్తే రాష్ట్రానికి రూ.1.75 లక్షల కోట్ల లబ్ధి చేకూరుతుందని భావిస్తున్నారు. అపారమైన అవకాశాలు భారీ ఎత్తున డేటా నిల్వ చేసే కేంద్రాలనే డేటాసెంటర్లుగా పిలుస్తున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం వాణిజ్య, వ్యాపార, సేవారంగాల్లో కంప్యూటర్లు, డేటాతో ముడిపడే నడుస్తున్నాయి. అవి ఎలాంటి అవరోధాలు లేకుండా కొనసాగాంటే ‘బ్యాకప్’ వ్యవస్థ ఉండాలి. * ఇంటర్నెట్ వినియోగం గణనీయంగా పెరగడం, క్లౌడ్ కంప్యూటింగ్ వంటి ఆధునిక విధానాలు వచ్చిన నేపథ్యంలో వివిధ మార్గాల్లో డేటా ఉత్పత్తి గణనీయంగా పెరుగుతోంది. భారతదేశం డేటా గోప్యత, రక్షణ హక్కుల్ని పక్కాగా అమలు చేయనుంది. మన దేశంలో ఉత్పత్తయిన డేటాను ఇక్కడే నిల్వ చేయాలని జస్టిస్ శ్రీకృష్ణ కమిటీ ముసాయిదా నివేదికలో పేర్కొంది. ఇది చట్టంగా మారితే మన దేశంలో భారీ డేటా సెంటర్ల అవసరం చాలా ఏర్పడుతుంది. * ప్రస్తుతం మన దేశంలోని డేటా సెంటర్ల సామర్థ్యం ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న డేటా సెంటర్ల సామర్థ్యంలో 2 శాతం కంటే తక్కువే. * మెగా డేటా సెంటర్ల ఏర్పాటుకు భారీ పెట్టుబడితోపాటు, పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధన వనరులు, సముద్ర జలాలు, చౌక విద్యుత్ అవసరం. అవన్నీ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో పుష్కలంగా ఉన్నాయి. సముద్రగర్భంలో కేబుల్స్ వేయడం ఇక్కడ తేలిక. పెట్టుబడులు: రూ.68,000 కోట్లు రాష్ట్రంలో ఒక గిగావాట్ సామర్థ్యంగల డేటా సెంటర్ (డీసీ) ఏర్పాటు చేస్తే డీసీ డెవలపర్ ద్వారా రూ.7వేలకోట్లు, డీసీ వినియోగదారుల ద్వారా రూ.10వేల కోట్లు, దానికి అనుబంధ కార్యకలాపాల ద్వారా రూ.51వేల కోట్లు పెట్టుబడులు వస్తాయని అంచనా. ఉద్యోగాలు: 88,200 డీసీ డెవలపర్ ద్వారా 8,050, వినియోగదారుల ద్వారా 14 వేలు, అనుబంధ కార్యకలాపాల వల్ల 66,150 ఉద్యోగాలు వస్తాయి. జీఎస్డీపీ కంట్రిబ్యూషన్ రూ.1,72,000 కోట్లు * డెవలపర్ ద్వారా రూ.17,800 కోట్లు, వినియోగదారుల ద్వారా రూ.25,200 కోట్లు, అనుబంధ కార్యకలాపాల వల్ల రూ.1,29,000 కోట్లు. మూడు చోట్ల స్థలం * ఆదాని డేటా సెంటర్ కోసం విశాఖ జిల్లా నక్కపల్లి వద్ద 300, కాపులుప్పాడ వద్ద 100, విజయనగరంలో 100 ఎకరాలను ప్రభుత్వం కేటాయిస్తుంది. * డేటా సెంటర్ నిర్వహణకు అవసరమైన పునరుత్పాదక ఇంధన వనరుల ఉత్పత్తికి రాయలసీమలో 10 వేల ఎకరాలు కేటాయించనున్నారు. * ఆదానీ గ్రూపు రూ.10 కోట్ల వ్యయంతో 2 వేల మంది విద్యార్థుల కోసం ఒక పాఠశాల ఏర్పాటు చేయనుంది. * రూ.15 కోట్లతో 50 పడకల ఆసుపత్రి, రూ.25 లక్షల వ్యయంతో మొబైల్ హెల్త్కేర్ సదుపాయం కల్పించనుంది. ప్రయోజనాలు * డిజిటల్ ఆర్థిక వ్యవస్థలో ఐటీ పెట్టుబడులన్నీ డేటా సెంటర్ల చుట్టూనే కేంద్రీకృతమవుతున్నాయి. విశాఖకు భారీగా ఐటీపరిశ్రమలు రావడానికి ఇది దోహదం చేస్తుంది. చివరి వరకు గోప్యం ఆదానీ గ్రూప్ భారీ పెట్టుబడితో రాష్ట్రంలో డేటా సెంటర్ ఏర్పాటు చేసేందుకు ముందుకు వస్తున్న విషయాన్ని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం చివరివరకు గోప్యంగా ఉంచింది. ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ లోనే ఏర్పాటు చేసేలా ఆదానీతో ఒప్పందం కుదుర్చుకునేందుకు ప్రభుత్వం చాలా కృషి చేసింది. ఐటీ శాఖ మంత్రి లోకేశ్ గత సంవత్సరం దావోస్లోను, ఆ తర్వాత ఫిన్టెక్ ఫెస్టివల్లోను ఆదానీ గ్రూప్ ముఖ్యులతో పలు దఫాలు చర్చలు జరిపారు. ఆదానీ గ్రూప్ ఈ రంగంలో భారీగా పెట్టుబడులు పెడుతోందని తెలుసుకుని స్వయంగా వారిని కలసి రాష్ట్రంలోని క్లౌడ్ హబ్ పాలసీ వివరాలను తెలియపర్చారు.
