Future is going to be worst . future will be more materialistic . sending kids to India/grandparents for 1st few year is not a bad thing at all. If the grandparents are young and healthy enough...its is much better than sendind them to daycares (as per my observation with friends and others). Kids don't lose bonding with their parents how far they are, that's the beauty of GOD's creation. infact they will bond with grandparents, uncles , aunts etc if grandparents are old/unhealthy : leaving kids with them is bad idea. Troubling older parents is very bad. Coming to the question in the above status: It all depends on ones interests and priorities. For a decent life one income is enough and one parent takes care of the child,home etc once the child start full time school...now parent can start working , ofcouse if you have 2 kids then its takes long time. after being home for 6,7 yrs finding job may not be easy or one can lose interest... Over all its a personnel decision either to live decent and takecare of child or send the child to daycare , deal with infections/allergies/medical bills, add stress ...you will be able to save few pennies , which is of no worth. over all LIFE is a BUMMER. you can't win in any direction, so just do what ever u think is good for that time.
