Gowri Pooja:
It is one of the step in Hindu marriages. During this ritual the bride offers her prayers to invoke Goddess Gowri Devi, seek her blessings and Goddess Gowri Devi is the icon of an ideal wife. The Goddess’ own marriage is the symbol of ever-lasting love.

Kanyadanam:
Groom will be considered as personification of Vishnu and pooja performed to him and the Kanyadanam ritual takes place. Kanyadanam, meaning “giving away the bride” in Sanskrit, is a symbolic marriage ritual for the Bride’s parents and the wedding couple. The Father of the Bride take’s his daughters right hand and places it in the Groom’s right hand, requesting for him to accept his daughter as his equal partner.

Sumuhurtham (Jeelakarra(cumin seeds)-bellam(jiggery) Dhahran):
It is one of the Important step in Hindu marriages. This is the first time the bride and groom look at each other. Before this step the cloth veli still up help between bride and groom. Once they hold a paste made of cumin seeds and Jiggery on heads of each other, then cloth veli is removed. MORE

Mangalasuta Dharana (Tying of three knots):
Mangalya means that which gives good things and Dharanam means “wearing”. The bride has to wear two mangalya’s one given by her father and another by the groom’s father and this is one of the most important event of a Hindu marriage system. MORE
Panigrahana:

Panigrahana is a Hindu marriage ritual which is basically the grasping of the bride’s hand by the bridegroom. This ritual is symbolical of taking a girl’s responsibility. It is sacred responsibility as the girl is supposed to be given by his father and the guardian deities who witness the marriage. The prayer suggests a prosperous married life.
Saptapadi:
Saptapadi is the most important rite of a Hindu marriage ceremony. After tying the Mangalsutra, the groom and bride take seven steps around the holy fire, that is called Saptapadi. MORE
Seven steps follows:
• The first vow is for food
• The second for strength
• The third for prosperity
• The fourth for wisdom
• The fifth for progeny
• The sixth for health
• The seventh for friendship

Arundhati nakshatram:

This is one more important step in Hindu marriage where the husband takes the wife and shows her the Arundhati vashishta pair. One popular story is that Arundhati was the dedicated wife of sage Vashistha and that is the reason the wife is shown the arundhati star basically to show her the model wife

పెళ్లి అనగానే.. కన్యాదానం, అప్పగింతలు, కన్నీళ్లు. ఎక్కడైనా ఇవే కనిపిస్తాయి. కానీ ఇప్పుడు మేం చెప్పబోయే తండ్రి మాత్రం చస్తే కన్యాదానం చేయనన్నాడు. ఇది చూసి వెంటనే ఎంత కసాయి తండ్రి అని మాత్రం అనుకోకండి. కన్యాదానం చేయననడానికి ఆ తండ్రి చెప్పిన కారణం వింటే మీరు కూడా అతన్ని మెచ్చుకుంటారు. అస్మిత అనే నెటిజన్‌ ట్విటర్‌లో పోస్ట్‌ చేసిన ఈ పెళ్లి తంతు విశేషాలు ప్రస్తుతం తెగ వైరలవుతున్నాయి.
