The total cost of Dragon Springs Temple is 14.3 million US dollars. It can accommodate more than 100 people and receive 100 visitors. The main 17-acre complex includes three "halls", "four dormitories", "bell and drum towers" in Tang Dynasty style, a 132-foot-high "Buddha Tower" and a 4,800-square-foot greenhouse. Longquan Temple is equipped with an independent water supply system and a 4,000-gallon oil depot. The interior road is 6400 feet.

Dragon Springs Temple enjoys tax exemption as a "religious building". In addition, Dragon Springs Temple Buddhist Company has 25 acres of taxable land near the Gaimad toll road.

How can they enforce any building codes when they set a precedent with Dragon Springs that you can build and do anything you want, even violating specific approved permits, with no repercussions?

As for the Dragon Springs proposal for a 40-acre solar array, the project engineer did not attend the meeting, although the project was on the agenda. Questions linger about where transmission lines would be located, as residents oppose using Galley Hill Road.
