LA residents treated to a light show, but no, it wasn't a meteor

People in Downtown Los Angeles thought they'd spotted a meteor in the sky on Wednesday evening, with videos of an orange light with a bright tail falling through the sky cropping up online. But it turns out the light source was actually flares being held by wing jumpers.
