This is how lots of industry is semi-automated. this old tech is called AI/ML by their CIO. 

 

Next time, when another buzz word takes over, every existing thing will be repackaged and sold as yet another instance of that new buzzword.

Remember that old buzzword, e-commerce.

Currently in market when you interview for ai or ml any positions they are looking for data structures it don’t matter which language but once your in they are going to place you in boot camp to get along with these new tools .... been doing NLP since past 1 year trying to switch job so saying with that experience

It's not about Buzz words , but yeah true very few people know about real AI and ML mostly PhD's . EE onlie course chesina valu mostly very mediocre compared to the phD's who have real indepth knowledge of teh subject . And also these technology requires a lot of reading compared to other technologies as its a new and emerging technology.
