Y is a variable defined by the points in a stock market. X is an independent variable but is actually a function in itself and is dependant on a lot of factors that influence the stock market. Y=sin(x) is what the stock market points show. Now the period of the function changes, so does the phase difference. But the function is still the same.

Point ki ochav. Period cannot be controlled but what you can control is the influence which is what @TRUMP talking about his ability/influence. If you replace @TRUMP with @Obama the function won't be the same because of the influential power. So your function is invalid.

You're saying x can either be x=f(Trump) or x=f(Obama). I agree. I only said y=sin(x). I didn't define the function that x describes. I only said x is not an independent variable. I personally think that x=f(Trump, a, b, c, d......z). So the dependence of y on Trump is minimal.
