YSRCP Govt Is On A Name-changing Spree!

It looks like the newly elected government of YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh is on a name-changing spree all over the state.

The new government has already changed the name of 'NTR Bharosa' scheme and named it as 'YSR Pension'. Freshly, Jagan's government has decided to rename the midday meal scheme as 'YSR Akshaya Patra'. Also, the new chief minister has decided to hike salaries for workers of this scheme to Rs 3,000.

In the afternoon hours of Friday, Jagan Reddy conducted a review meeting with officials of education department and Akshaya Patra trust at his residence in Tadepalli, Vijayawada. The new boss of AP has reportedly suggested department officials to not compromise on the quality of food that is being served to children in schools.

In the days to come, the new government being led by Jagan Mohan Reddy is likely to give YSR's name to several schemes and projects, including Polavaram.

CM Jagan's third stroke: Lifts ban on CBI in AP

 

On November 17th, 2018, Chandrababu Naidu has restricted Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in Andhra Pradesh. Till date there were no raids in AP and with change in government, new CM YS Jagan has revised the general consent notification of CBI in AP. This means CBI can function in the state like it used to earlier.

When Chandrababu was in power, the CBI used to constantly target TDP leaders. Naidu claimed that Modi led BJP government is doing vendetta politics by deliberately targeting TDP as it pulled of NDA. This led to a huge discussion then and there was a mixed response from the political circles.

Immediately after taking charge, this CBI issue got the notice of Jagan on the second day. He held talks with the officials and decided to lift the restrictions on CBI. He opined that the Federal system which keeps good rapport with states and centre will get affected because of limits on CBI and so he took a call.

So Jagan is completely shaking up the things in Andhra. Appointment of Stephen Ravindra as Intelligence Chief, replacing DGP Thakur and now giving a free hand to CBI, Jagan is showing his mark.

Andhra, Telangana Chief Ministers meet Governor

 

The Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on Saturday met E.S.L. Narasimhan, Governor of both the states, and discussed inter-state issues.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, who arrived in Hyderabad by a special aircraft from Vijayawada, drove straight to the Raj Bhavan and met the Governor. Minutes later, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao joined them.

This was the first meeting of the two Chief Ministers with Narasimhan since Jagan Reddy took oath as the Chief Minister on Thursday.

The meeting, a day ahead of the fifth anniversary of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, assumes significance in view of the disputes between the two states with regard to certain provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act 2014.

The Governor is believed to have discussed the issues relating to the division of institutions under the 9th and 10th schedule, handing over the buildings housing the Andhra Pradesh government offices in Hyderabad, sharing of assets of the institutions located in Hyderabad and distribution of employees between the two states.

With the YSR Congress Party led by Jagan Reddy coming to power in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrashekhar Rao believes that the environment is conducive for resolving all the outstanding issues.

The Telangana Chief Minister, who attended Jagan Reddy's swearing-in on April 30 in Vijayawada, has extended the hand of friendship to Andhra Pradesh and said both the states should amicably resolve all issues including the dispute over the sharing of river waters.

Earlier, Jagan Reddy had called on Chandrashekhar Rao on April 25 in Hyderabad to invite him for the swearing-in.

సాక్షి ప్రతినిధి,ఒంగోలు: ఏపీ సీఏంగా ప్రమాణ స్వీకారం చేసిన తొలిరోజు నుంచే వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌మోహన్‌రెడ్డి పాలనలో స్పీడు పెంచారు. తొలిరోజు తొలిసంతకంతో  పెన్షన్‌ మొత్తాలను భారీగా పెంచుతూ జీవో ఎంఎస్‌ నంబర్‌ 103 జారీచేసిన సీఎం ప్రభుత్వ  పథకాలను  సమర్దవంతంగా  అమలు చేసేందుకు  అధికారుల బదిలీలకు దిగారు. జిల్లా స్థాయిలో  ముఖ్యమైన అధికారుల బదిలీలకు ప్రభుత్వం శ్రీకారం చుట్టింది  ఇందుకోసం సీఎం  రెండు రోజులుగా ఉన్నతాధికారులతో కసరత్తు చేస్తున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. ఒకటి రెండు రోజులలోనే అన్ని శాఖల అధికారుల బదిలీలు  జరగనున్నట్లు సమాచారం. అవినీతికి తావులేని సమర్ధులైనఅధికారుల ఎంపిక వారికి బాధ్యతలు అప్పగించేందుకు సీఎం సిద్ధమైనట్లు తెలుస్తోంది.

డయాలసిస్‌ బాధితులకు చేయూత..
ఎన్నికలలో ఇచ్చిన హామీ మేరకు పెన్షన్ల మొత్తాన్ని పెంచుతూ జగన్‌ ప్రభుత్వం తొలి జీవో జారీ చేసింది. వృద్ధులతో పాటు వికలాంగులు, చేనేత, వితంతు, ఒంటరి మహిళల, మత్స్యకారులతో పాటు కిడ్నీ వ్యాధులకు సంబంధించి డయాలసిస్‌ పేషెంట్ల పెన్షన్లను భారీగా పెంచారు.  మొత్తంగా రూ. 2 వేలు ఉన్న ఎనిమిది రకాల పెన్షన్లను రూ. 2,250 కి పెంచగా వికలాంగులకు సంబంధించిన అన్ని రకాల పెన్షన్లను ప్రభుత్వం రూ.3 వేలు చేసింది. డయాలసిస్‌ చేయించుకుంటున్న కిడ్నీ వ్యాధిగ్రస్తుల పింఛను ఇప్పటి వరకూ రూ.3500 మాత్రమే ఉండగా  దానిని రూ.10 వేలకు పెంచుతూ ప్రభుత్వం జీఓ జారీ చేయడం గమనార్హం. దీని వల్ల జిల్లాలోని 3,80,903 మంది పెన్షన్‌దారులు లబ్ది పొందనున్నారు. ఈ పెరిగిన పింఛన్లు అన్నీ జూలై నెల నుంచి అందుతాయి. ఇక పెన్షన్‌ వయస్సును 65 నుంచి 60 సంవత్సరాలకు తగ్గిస్తూ జగన్‌ సర్కార్‌ తీసుకున్న నిర్ణయంతో జిల్లాలో లక్షలాది మందికి కొత్తగా పెన్షన్లు లభించనున్నాయి. ఇక ఆగస్టు15 నాటికే గ్రామస్థాయిలో ప్రతి 50 కుటుంబాలకు ఒక వాలంటీర్‌తో పాటు అక్టోబర్‌–2 నాటికి గ్రామసచివాలయ వ్యవస్థ ఏర్పాటు చేసి సచివాలయంలో పది మందికి చొప్పున ఉద్యోగాలు ఇవ్వనున్నట్లు సీఎం జగన్‌ ప్రకటించారు. దీనివల్ల ఒక్క ప్రకాశం జిల్లాలోనే దాదాపు 40 వేలమందికి ఉద్యోగాలు లభించే అవకాశముంది.

అవినీతిపరుల గుండెల్లో రైళ్లు..
ఎన్నికలలో చెప్పిన నవరత్నాలు పథకాలతో పాటు అన్ని రకాల పథకాలను అవినీతికి తావులేకుండా సమర్ధవంతగా అమలు చేసేందుకు జగన్‌ సర్కార్‌ సర్వం సిద్ధం చేస్తోంది. ఇందుకోసం సమర్దులైన అధికారులను నియమించేందుకు సీఎం కసరత్తు వేగవంతం చేశారు. చంద్రబాబు  సర్కార్‌లో అవినీతి అక్రమాలకు పాల్పడిన అధికారులను తప్పించి సమర్దవంతమైన అధికారులను నియమించేందుకు వైఎస్‌ జగన్‌ సిద్ధమయ్యారు. ఇందుకోసం ఇప్పటికే రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా ఉన్న అధికారులు, వారి పనితీరుకు సంబంధించిన వివరాలను ప్రభుత్వం సేకరించింది. రెండు మూడు రోజుల్లోనే జిల్లా స్థాయి అధికారుల బదిలీలు జరగనున్నట్లు తెలుస్తోంది. దీంతో అవినీతి అధికారుల గుండెల్లో రైళ్లు పరిగెడుతున్నాయి. మొత్తంగా ప్రమాణస్వీకారం చేసిన రెండు రోజుల్లోనే సీఎం జగన్‌ పాలనలో స్వీడు పెంచారు. ఆయన తీరును గమనిస్తున్న జనం సీఎం జగన్‌ ఎన్నికల్లో ఇచ్చిన అన్ని హామీలను నెరవేరుస్తారని, సమర్ధవంతమై పాలను అందిస్తారని నమ్మకంతో ఉన్నారు.
